Tonight, Amy Winehouse was wasted. She sat and sang, slurred and sang, sipped and slurred and slurred and sat. Awesome show if you consider stumbling around a bunch of paying fans awesome. Its part of the whole act and she played it up. Not very attractive, but fun to watch. Awful tattoos, but quite the voice! It'll be nice to see her mature and put out a "serious" album. She did lots of covers and some originals. Her band was a bit above her in the aspect that they could play, jam out, and fucking sing. A short-haired Milli Vannili brother combo stole the show.
Thanks for a great time Celeste. Thanks for bringing the luck. Like they say, if it wasn't for bad luck, wouldn't have any luck at all.

At 9:10 on Wednesday, Ayah falls off her bike and hits pavement. No huge injuries, ego and tiny bit of a chipped tooth. My poor gal.
Cleaned her wounds a bit, gave her 800mg Ibuprofen and then a beer. I figured she deserved it. She doesn't hurt too bad this morning, which is good, but tonight or tomorrow she'll probably get real sore. Enjoy the music.

Walking through the 'Loin in the mornings is kinda like listening to this song. Cacophonous and kinda dangerous. All kinds of characters and lots of alcohol everywhere, drugs bought/sold, and cops everywhere. Lots and lots of cops and lots and lots of drug deals. Today I saw a homeless man face down in the concrete lifting his head about an inch and then letting it smack back down. His pals just continued the same exact conversation that I had seen them start that morning.
Just another day in the hood.

I happen to have a total dislike for Fergie and her cronies over at the BEP hangout. So when Alanis comes along and pulls this song off and makes it over the top and lets you hear every word, well it makes it that much easier to hate BEP's. Ok thats all.

My and my lady got matching tattoos about a month ago, maybe two now. This bone shaker was at the Anarchist Fair. I stood out at the anarchist fair because I had sunglasses on, had a cellphone, wasn't a white person, patch-less, and didn't have a single dreaded hair.

Seth likes cigarettes. Seth likes to light 'em up and ruin his lungs. Everyday, every hour, every cigarette, his lungs become darker and darker. Smoking permanently damages the alveoli in his lungs, making it harder for him to breathe. The alveoli, little air sacs at the tips of his lungs, are built like tiny, stretchy balloons. As he breathes in, his alveoli helps him absorb oxygen into his body, and as he breathes out, alveoli help get rid of the waste gas carbon dioxide.
Smoke damages his lungs so much that his alveoli become less stretchy. This means it's harder for his lungs to take in the oxygen he needs and harder to get rid of carbon dioxide. When his alveoli are damaged like this, he can feel short of breath and tired. His heart has to pump much harder to give his body the oxygen it needs.
Ultimately leading to COPD, heart disease and straight up lung cancer. This picture may look cool, Seth may be cool, and it may look glamorous, but Seth is killing himself.

Saturday night at the Munki mansion. Shit. Its Monday morning and I still am feeling the effects of LOts and LOts of partying. Maybe the fact that we stayed awake until dawn will do that to you. I just know that I don't have a lot of these nights left until I start school. Maybe 5 left and I know that one or two of these will be spent on birthday bash weekend at the river house.
BroBerShaw is coming up. Should prove to turn the party up six notches.
Maybe fun Kari will come. She's Kate da Ta's lil sister. Just as fun and likes the booze too.
My gal will come, Anti-Rye, the Munkis, Kate, maybe some colleagues, and lets see who the hell else.

This is Ayah. She's a little bit of a giant. 6 Feet and 2 inches of silly girl. She lives with me and we sleep in a bed that often feels this tiny when she is pushing me out of it. I love her and we are going on 7 months here. Kind of amazing. Officially on paper we moved in together yesterday. Lets hope it last forever and ever and ever and ever.
